Our Approach

SOFA offers private lessons to students of every age and ability level, from beginners to advanced, from preschoolers to adults. Our talented instructors provide weekly lessons adapted to the needs and interests of each individual student.

We offer convenient lesson times throughout the week: morning, afternoon, or evening.  Specific lesson times can be requested during registration and we will do our best to accommodate. We offer two lesson lengths to accommodate different ages and ability levels, from 30 minute to 60 minute lessons.

How It Works

Lessons are set up on a 15-week semester (one lesson per week) and can be either 30 minutes or 60 minutes in length.  We recommend 30 minutes for beginner and 60 minutes for intermediate and advanced students.  Once you register, you are placed with an instructor and both you and the instructor receive a confirmation email stating the day, time, length and room number for the lesson along with any other necessary information.

Please note there is a $60 annual registration fee.

Lesson fees are:

15 weeks of 30 minute lessons:

Payment options: 3 monthly payments of $150 with payment due at the first of each month.

OR by the semester: $450

15 weeks of 60 minute lessons:

Payment options: 3 monthly payments of $250 with payment due at the first of each month.

OR by the semester: $750

Lesson fees are due by the first lesson of the semester.
